This portrait was done from a famous photograph of Mohammad Ali in action boxing, Pastels on Vermillion Cartridge paper, A3 size. I was trying to get the sense of power and motion in his image which the photograph cant portray. Done 2002, Currently working on another Muhammad Ali Portrait this time in oils.
